In celebration of the 2016 National Nark Centennial, National Geographic photographer Jonathan Irish went on assignment for Fujifilm and National Geographic Traveler to explore, discover, and photograph all 59 of the U.S. National Parks in one year. With more than 45,000 miles driven, an emergency bush-plane landing in Alaska, two flat tires, and countless other crazy experiences, it was a rewarding and difficult assignment. Yet, it was also filled with some of the most beautiful scenery, incredible hiking, and amazing camping spots under the stars. This is a fun and inspiring talk about dreaming big, successfully pitching a year-long story, and going on an epic adventure discovering our nation's greatest treasures: our National Parks.
