Returning for its fifth consecutive year, OPTIC 2019 was the best OPTIC yet! With our planet's environment changing at a rapid rate, the discussion was more poignant than ever. The four-day imaging event explored the inspiration, techniques, and equipment essential to capturing the great outdoors—with an emphasis on conservation. Clifford Pickett is a professional travel, humanitarian and commercial photographer, videographer, producer and lecturer. Although he’s based in New York, his work takes him around the globe. Like many travelers, his passion for seeing and experiencing the world is precisely what sparked his enthusiasm for photography. His unique style is a product of his approach: Shoshin, or “new mind”—a perspective of seeing his subjects and the world with childlike wonder, as if it were for the first time. Pickett often shoots with just an iPhone and a small aerial drone. Learn More >   https://www.cliffordpickett.com/
