BIO: Colby Brown is a photographer, photo educator, author and Sony Artisan based in Eastern Pennsylvania. Specializing in landscape, travel, and humanitarian photography, his portfolio spans the four corners of the globe. Throughout his work, he combines a love of the natural world with a fascination with the world’s diverse cultures. Each of his photographs tells a story of life on this planet. In 2011, he founded The Giving Lens, which helps fight for child education, clean drinking water projects, species preservation, women’s rights, and much more.

Eric Guth is a photographer and naturalist whose stories and photos have appeared in BBC Travel, The Guardian, NHK, Asian Photography, and National Geographic. Guth has spent more than a decade photographing and teaching people about our planet’s glaciated regions—from documenting glacier cave research for the BBC to installing time-lapse cameras in Antarctica to showcasing arctic diversity as part of a three-year cultural journalism project called Meet the North. In this B&H Event Space video, nature and wildlife photographer Chris Nicholson, who is the author of Photographing National Parks and a partner and instructor with National Parks at Night, discusses the best way to approach and photograph Maine’s Acadia National Park. Topics include finding your way around the park’s 27-mile Park Loop Road, 57 miles of rustic roadway, and 120 miles of hiking trails, not to mention the best spots for fishing and photographing seascapes. Also joining him is travel photographer Susan Magnano, who is the co-founder of PhoTour Adventures and an expert on photographing Acadia National Park all year ’round.
