Legendary portrait and fine art photographer Joyce Tenneson spoke at B&H’s 2018 OPTIC Conference about understanding the photography you create and the importance of having a specific project to motivate your work. If she didn’t say another word during her talk, the images alone would inspire, but she discusses looking for inspiration in all aspects of life, and the need to reinvent your work, to surprise yourself, and then move onto a new project.
