Comica Audio BoomX-D D2 Wireless Mic System: Hands-On Review

A.B. takes an in-depth look at Comica's BoomX-D D2 Wireless Mic System, which could be one of the best bang-for-your-buck purchases as a content creator. This wireless microphone system comes with two transmitters, a receiver, a lavalier microphone, smartphone and camera cables, wind furries, a charging cable, and more.

Two transmitter units are nice to have but what I really want is two receivers for two-camera work so the same audio goes directly to both cameras.

I have this issue with the Sony System as well.  I then bought the receiver through the simplest Make 3 Channel Mixer.  I have the Sure Wireless Monitor system.  I put a Monitor Wireless onto the tripod for each camera.  This permits the camera's with the same Sound Source going through my External Audio Recorder.  Works great and provides some of the Cleanest Mic Pre-amps on the market...  I, like you it appears, like to have each Video Camera to have the same input feeds all of the time...

Hi Martin -

Comica does not offer a similar system with two receivers at this time. The price is right - pick up two of these systems.

Hi Martin-

An additional receiver may be added to this system so you can connect a receiver to each camera.
