Introducing MuxLab 4K UHD KVM HDMI-over-IP PoE Extender Transmitter/Receiver

0Share

Upgrade the configuration and management of your office’s server room or broadcast studio with the power of MuxLab’s KVM HDMI-over-IP PoE Extender Transmitter and Receiver duo and their UHD 4K signal distribution capabilities. Equipment from personal computers and keyboards to HDMI monitors and Ethernet switches can connect and exchange up to 4K60 HDR video over long distances, thanks to various LAN, USB, and HDMI connections.

Connectivity

The transmitter’s HDMI and USB inputs take video signals up to 4K60 from your computer and they are delivered to the corresponding receiver via Cat 5e/6 cable up to 330' long. The receiver can then bring that signal to an HDMI display and up to four USB devices, thanks to the integrated USB hub. Each receiver has hotkey sequence capabilities for connection to any transmitter within the network, allowing one operator to manage several different servers or workstations with ease.

Other I/O

Audio can also be transmitted within the system. The transmitter has a 3.5mm audio input and corresponding output for delivery to the receiver’s 3.5mm output and microphone input. Both the transmitter and receiver have a LAN port capable of receiving PoE (Power-over-Ethernet), or supporting point-to-point and point-to-multipoint configurations when connected to a PoE Ethernet switch. A 5 VDC input is also available for an alternative power source for each device.

Configuration: The Possibilities are Endless

These MuxLab KVM extenders are ideal for delivering high-quality video signals over long distances, whether that be in the corporate office, recording studio, or lecture hall. Depending on network bandwidth, innumerable combinations of transmitters and receivers can be linked together to achieve the best configuration for your needs.
