Illuminate your studio or location production with the Electro Storm XT26 and CS15, two new point-source LED fixture offerings from Aputure, which can optimize your lighting environment with ultra-high output, a wide color range, seamless connectivity workflow sync, and numerous control options. The F14 Motorized Fresnel and Spotlight Max are two new accessories that complement and enhance the new fixtures using Bowens and the new A-mount powered accessory mount.
Introducing the new A-mount electronic accessory mount, Aputure’s latest advancement to add large, powered accessories onto your lights. From motorized spot-flood to fine-tuning accessories, the new A-mount will support a wide range of remotely controlled modifiers to add to your lighting kit in the future.
Electro Storm XT26 Point-Source LED Fixture
The Electro Storm XT26 sports the higher power output of the two new lights, which is measured at the equivalent of a standard 12,000W tungsten Fresnel or 4000W HMI. Its numerous features include:
Bi-color variable adjustment range of 2700 to 6500K to match industry-standard lighting
Advanced liquid cooling
Built-in lighting effects
IP65 dust and water resistance
Optional battery operation
Remote control via its control box using all the standard methods, including Sidus, LumenRadio CRMX, ArtNet/sACN, and DMX
The dual accessory mount accepts all standard Bowens accessories and adds the new A-mount to utilize motorized accessories. The light comes with a heavy-duty yoke, and it can be removed to utilize an optional motorized yoke for pan and tilt adjustments, offering even more output and remote-control options.
Electro Storm CS15 Point-Source LED Fixture
The Electro Storm CS15 provides all the same basic features as the XT26 with a lower output equivalency of a standard 1800W HMI. It also features a full-color output for an even wider range of color choices than the XT26. Its 2000 to 10,000K CCT range and green-magenta adjustment fall within the Rec. 2020 color space, and its new dual-blue LED design adds even more access to accurate color reproduction. The CS15 also features the same versatile dual A-mount/Bowens accessory mount to accept an enormous range of modifiers.
F14 Electronic Motorized Fresnel Modifier
The first of many, the F14 is the first electronic modifier for Aputure’s new A-mount system. This 14" large-diameter Fresnel features a dual-lens design and mounts onto the new XT26 or CS15 LED fixtures. Utilizing motor control, the A-mount connection provides automatic calibration, remote control via DMX or Sidus through the light fixture, and spot-food precision adjustment from 18 to 40°. For even more value, it includes a detachable yoke, a set of barndoors, and features a weather-resistant exterior. A flight case is also included with the F14 for storage and transport.
Spotlight Max Projection Lens Modifier
The final release of the day is the Spotlight Max projector lens for stages, studios, and productions that need bright, evenly lit spots and patterns. The Spotlight Max is designed to mount on the new XT26 and CS15 light fixtures, but since it features a Bowens mount, it is also compatible with a wide range of point-source fixtures such as the LS 600d Pro. The Max provides 60% more brightness output compared to its predecessor, the original Spotlight, with minimal edge fringing for even light distribution. It features four internal leaf shutters and a geared, rotating A- and B-size gobo holder. It is also compatible with optional 19, 36, and 50° lenses, ETC lenses using an adapter, and the dual-layer Spotlight Max Iris. The Spotlight Max also includes a wheeled flight case.
