Eric is an audio and technology enthusiast who, after leaving France for New York City and graduating from the Institute of Audio Research, embarked on a 28-year-long career in the recording industry, where he worked as a studio technician, an audio engineer, a musician, and eventually, an A&R executive at Universal Records. Calvi was fortunate to join B&H in 2009 and currently writes for the Web Content Department. He remains involved in audio engineering, occasionally recording music with independent artists and advising musicians on products and technology for their home studios. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his children, watching classic movies, cooking, and taking a lot of photos.
