CM-15 Field Condenser Microphone

Pocket-sized yet potent, the CM-15 features an advanced large-diaphragm, supercardioid condenser capsule that captures exceptional audio quality with rich, transparent, and natural sound. This rare capacity is supported by a high-end ESS Sabre analog-to-digital converter, which preserves high-fidelity sound when recording digitally. Your audio will be clean and clear, easily supporting professional audio productions and field recording scenarios―and with three gain settings, you can capture everything from soft vocals and interview dialog to heavy drums without concern.

Connectivity is versatile as well, providing plenty of options for various recording scenarios. You get analog and digital output options through a USB-C port and a mini-XLR output, which supports 48V phantom power when the internal 10-hour rechargeable battery isn’t sufficient. An extra 3.5mm line output is also available for direct, low-latency headphone monitoring, or sending the signal to outboard equipment, such as a wireless transmitter or portable recorder.

The microphone case is thoughtfully constructed to minimize handling noise and provide excellent durability in the field. Aluminum, stainless steel, and polycarbonate plastic are used in tandem for reliable protection and shock absorption. A silver matte finish is applied to ensure the mic stands out and exudes the stylish, minimalist presence expected of Teenage Engineering products.
