Is it waterproof? To what depth?
No unfortunately, neither model is waterproof.
It will be interesting to read feedback on battery life. The absence of GPS will remove that potential drain, but the processor and wifi may eat it up.
What is the shutter lag?
I am missing a GPS option in the description. Is it not built in? Would make this into a super pocket-able camera.
I like the spec so far.
What about low light shooting? Say compared to a Nikon S9500 which claims can almost do without flash all the time.
If this can do low light too, I'll buy one.
With its CX format, Nikon tried to make the case that camera price need not track primarily with sensor size, but they overpriced their Nikon 1 cameras, at least initially.
Now, Samsung is pushing the strategy farther with connectivity features and is asking us to pay $450 or more for a camera with a 1/2.3" sensor. Sorry, but there is already a solution for easily sharing poor-quality photographs. It's called a cell phone.
64GB microSDHC ? It should be 64GB microSDXC.
Almost perfect, with two exceptions. First, it does not provide for RAW images. Second, it does not have a microphone connector. What's the specs on the lens (manufacturer, type glass)?
