Adding to its ever-expanding line of studio-quality, full-color LED tubes, Nanlite has introduced upgraded models to the popular PavoTube series. These PavoTube II XR tubes deliver the same high-powered RGBWW LED performance of the standard PavoTube X lights. Because they are outfitted with RGBWW LEDs, the PavoTube II XRs maintain consistent illumination when adjusting output across their wide color temperature and RGB spectrums. They also boast high-fidelity color rendition, with CRI and TLCI ratings in the high 90s. However, unlike their predecessors, the fixtures’ practical and pixel-based effects, CCT adjustment with green/magenta tuning, and full HSI color control can now be accessed wirelessly using bult-in CRMX LumenRadio wireless DMX.
This added control choice, which supplements the already available 2.4GHz and Bluetooth connectivity options, allows gaffers and lighting designers to integrate the tubes easily into an established professional wireless DMX ecosystem. This is especially useful when accessing the pixel-mapping features of the PavoTube XRs for creating complex LED-based lighting displays or creating realistic image-based lighting.
The tubes are available as 2, 4, and 8' variations in two-, four-, or eight-light kits, which come in a padded carrying bag with T12 clips and other mounting accessories.
Along with these new LED tubes, Nanlite will now package its Forza 300 II and Forza 500 II LED spotlights, in both their daylight-balanced and bi-color varieties, in convenient two-light kits. These packages are built for a near-complete lighting setup and come in rolling padded trolley cases that safely transport the fixtures, power/control units, Bowens mount reflectors, and cables together.
