If you’re looking for immersive sound with voice control and plenty of wireless streaming options, then look no further than the new Bose® Smart Soundbar™ 900. Available in either black or white, it produces a virtual 5.0.2-channel Dolby Atmos soundstage with a dedicated center channel and two up-firing full-range drivers. The soundbar uses Bose® proprietary TrueSpace™ spatial processing technology to analyze non-Atmos signals and up-mix them, producing a more enveloping audio experience for all your content.
Beyond Audio
There’s a very good reason why Bose® decided to name this the Smart Soundbar™ 900. Amazon Alexa and the Google Assistant are built in, enabling voice control of not only the soundbar, but of any compatible device in your home on the same network. Check your baby monitor or outside cameras, dim the lights for movie night, lock your doors, and start watching your TV show or movie of choice without ever picking up a remote control.
Alexa even features a voice-calling feature that lets you speak to friends and family who own Bose® smart devices with Amazon Alexa. You can initiate a call by simply saying, “Alexa, call Mom,” and answer a call with “Alexa, answer.” The service is free, and you don’t need your cell phone for these calls.
Multiroom Audio and More
You can group the Smart Soundbar™ 900 with other Bose® smart speakers via Wi-Fi to create a seamless audio experience throughout your home. Play the same song in every room or set up different music in each room to create distinct soundscapes. Additionally, Bose® SimpleSync™ technology lets you pair the soundbar with other compatible Bose® products to create a private listening experience with your compatible Bose® headphones or expand the TV’s audio to another area by pairing with a compatible Bose® Bluetooth speaker.
Enhanced Connectivity
The soundbar connects to your TV with just a single cable―either HDMI eARC or an optical cable, both of which are included―to provide a simple setup. If your TV supports it, the eARC option enables TV-based multi-channel audio, such as Dolby Atmos from your TV’s Netflix app, to stream to the soundbar, preserving the source’s native audio format.
Streaming technologies like Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth, and Chromecast built-in are also onboard, enabling wireless audio playback from nearly any device. Further, if you’d like to create an even more immersive soundstage, you can add a Bose® wireless bass module or Bose® surround speakers for fuller audio.
